J.T. Carruthers earned her bachelor’s in health science and a minor in physiology before going on to receive her master’s in health education. One of her joys in life was reading to her children and seeing them smile as the story unfolded. These sweet memories created a dream to one day write a children’s story, and along with her dream came her passion to photograph wildlife. It was the blending of these two ideas that brought about this sweet story of a little girl named Destiny and her love for wildlife in the story of Destiny’s Day At The Zoo.
J.T. is also the author of The 39-Mile Path of Destruction: Through Western and Central Massachusetts, Destiny’s Magical Dream, and Tales Of The Whispering Pines. Get rid of – a photography book that captures the wrath of the 2011 tornado as it tore through several towns in Massachusetts.
